The Chinese (Taiwan) Society of International Law is the
Chinese (Taiwan) Branch of International Law Association
headquartered in London, U.K. (ILA). In recent years, not only
has the CSIL actively participated in all kinds of the ILA’s
activities, but has taken the initiative in holding
international conferences, such as the ILA’s First Asian-Pacific
Regional Conference and the ILA’s 68th (Taipei) Biennial
Conference in 1995 and 1998, respectively, both remarkable
success. Accordingly, the CSIL’s efforts have greatly
contributed to the elevation of international status and foreign
diplomacy of the Republic of China.
